The Unicam CNC Oscillating Knife is a machine controlled by a CNC controller capable of cutting any 3D objects out of extruded and expanded polystyrene foams (EPS and XPS). The cutting is performed with an oscillating knife moving in the vertical and horizontal axes through the use of motors controlled by an electronic controller that runs from G-Code. Unicam CNC will supply software to generate the G-Code that fits the application requirements. This ensures flawless precision, high processing speed, and consistently excellent quality.

The Oscillating Knife cannot cut pockets in the material, like a router, but it cuts more efficiently than the router bit on softer foams.
